When a kitchen is this spacious and opulent it’s easy to overlook subtle details and design language. The big picture is what everyone sees, but live with a kitchen for a couple of months and it’s the thoughtful practicality and little touches that take centre stage. This kitchen is a case in point. Designed on a grand scale with full-height cabinets, high-spec appliances and a delightful pantry, we also delivered the client’s vision for dining within the same space. Banquette seating saves space on three sides of the large table, as well as inspiring a more casual way to enjoy quality time with family and friends. There are lots of other finishing touches, if you know where to look. Delicate cabinet fretwork and contrasting worktop inlays are just two of many examples in this detail-driven kitchen.
