All of this elegantly contrasts with the warm inners of the cabinets, where using solid walnut shelves and dovetail-jointed drawers with suede liners feels like a warm embrace. Taking centre stage is the island with a backdrop of full-height cabinetry, adding a heritage feel to this established home, allowing much of the space’s disguising functionality as crafted pieces of furniture.
