The upside of lockdown
During the recent pandemic, our showroom was under the same lockdown restrictions as other retail businesses with no customer visits allowed. But we didn’t let the dust settle, in fact we turned the isolation to our advantage by creating two brand new show kitchens and an attractive new entrance that leads naturally in from our car park.
Our lockdown kitchens are very different but share the lifestyle insight we bring to all our work. We designed the larger of the two as a showpiece for the customer who entertains with exuberance. A dramatically high ceiling, crockery showcase and heavy marble worktops give this kitchen a stunning look. It’s lavished with opulent features, including a Champagne trough, equipped with the very best brand appliances and is magnificently proportioned for entertaining and enjoying the finer things in life.
The second new kitchen, accessed through a secret door in the first, is a cosy, modern take on the traditional farmhouse kitchen – a space where the entire family can spend quality time together. Antique brass fittings and bold colours add a depth of richness, while a huge stainless-steel range dominates the room, clearly identifying this as a kitchen for people who love to cook.
The new kitchens are the perfect excuse – if one were needed – to pop down to our showroom and experience them for yourself.
